AWARD RECIPIENTS 2006
Peoples Choice ~ This award is sponsored by the RDC chapter and as the name would imply is awarded to the boat which receives the most votes from those in attendance. Ballots will be collected and counted at 3PM. WOODEN PLAQUE
Mark and Jennifer Thompson; LOOTAS 1929 26’ Hacker Craft
Presidents Choice ~ This award is sponsored by the RDC chapter and is given to the boat and owner that the President of the Chapter sees fit. There are no hard and fast guidelines on this award. WOODEN PLAQUE

Green Award ~ This award is sponsored by the RDC and is awarded to the best non-power boat at the show, either on land or in water. WOODEN OAR

Best Amateur Restoration ~ This award is sponsored by Hank Craft Restoration will be presented to the best amateur restoration present at the show. Craftsmanship, quality of restoration and attention to detail and originality will all be taken into consideration. WOODEN PLAQUE

Best Original/ Best Preserved Boat ~ This award is sponsored by the ACBS and shall go to the boat which is most original. The boat must float and if it has an engine, the engine should run. SILVER PLATE

Chris Craft Award ~ This award is sponsored by the Chris Craft boat club and shall be awarded to the best Chris Craft.

Presidents Cup Award ~ This award is provided to the Chapter President by the ACBS. It is to be given to a person whose dedication to the aims of the ACBS was exemplary during the past year. SILVER CUP AND BASE
Charles and Mari Mansfield
Broken Cable Award ~ This award is given to the show participant who, despite his best efforts, experience some sort of tough luck at the docks or out on the water. This award is named after the broken cable incident at Charles’ lake house after one of our show planning meetings. He was preparing to put his boat in the water to satiate the boards needs when we all heard a large SPLASH and saw Charles floating out of the boat house with a rather large and heavy boat chasing him. Bill Baldwin recognition ~ In honor of all Bill has done to create and build this chapter the planning committee presented him with an ACBS license plate.
